This book is number 2 on the series and it can be read as a standalone because the author explains perfectly the situation and the lives of the characters you were supposed to meet on the first book.
The whole idea of a group of super ex soldiers that travel through time to save the world was just perfect!
I found Reid to be an amazing character, he was complex but had so much within him, I thought it was really romantic that even though he couldn't remember anything he sought her out.
The plot has enough action to keep you on your toes and some pretty good sex scenes.
