His Hellcat (Sassy Girls #1) by Rory Reynolds

My Rating: 4 Stars
Series: Sassy Girls #1
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Subject: Sometimes getting away takes you right back home.

Synopsis
Hutch

The cabin was supposed to be the perfect escape.
Until my best friend's little sister shows up looking for her own getaway.
I should keep my hands to myself.
But from that first glance, I know she's mine.

Blake

I had to get away from my cheating ex and slutty best friend.
Nothing was going right,
A flat tire, no shoes, no bra, and a thunderstorm followed by him.
He’s sexy as sin and out of my league.
I shouldn’t want him.
But I do.

Note: This novella is an insta-love erotic romance with a guaranteed happily ever after.

My Review

Book given by the author for an honest Review.

It’s the first one I’ve read from the author and I really enjoyed it.

Even though it was a short story, we get to know the character and connect with them.
Blake was hilarious for me, I like her a lot! The only thing that bothered me was her self-teem issues that were the result of her listening to her idiot ex. But otherwise, she is the woman we would all want to be, sassy and feisty.

Hutch was AMAZING!  He was a gentleman, and the fact that he didn’t want her to be stuck with him because of his PTSD related issues made him even better in my opinion.

The story was interesting and beautiful and we get to see two people who are meant for each other fight their way into their happily ever after.

A really good book!

Synopsis

Forget Prince Charming. Go for the wolf.
LUKE
Who's going to save Little Red Riding Hood?

Nothing is what it seems to be, and to solve the mystery, we'll have to look the big bad wolf right in his teeth.

Big Bad Wolf is a full-length romantic suspense novel. Comes with 2 bonus books - ACE by Frankie Love and Dark Blood by Isabella Starling.

My Review

Book given in exchange for an honest review.

This is my Second book from Isabella and my first from Frankie and I couldn't be happier, it was better than good, it was perfection.

The story had some pretty spectacular characters that weren't only hot, but smart and sweet, and deeply disturbed, just the way we love them !

Sweet girl next door Hayley is back in her hometown, and things have changed so much, she is scared it wont feel like home, until she sees Luke.

He was just... WOW, the big bad wolf suited him perfectly. I'm happy to announce that I have found yet again a new book boyfriend, he was perfection wrap up in a bad boy exquisite exterior.

The fact that they have known each other for their wholes lives was really romantic and created a deeply rooted connection between the characters that couldn't be faked.

The time apart has changed them, but when you truly love someone, you always find a way back to them.

The plot was captivating, not only because of their funny and steamy interactions, but because of the mysterious crimes happening and the fact that we get some chapters narrated by the killer. Being inside the monster head was a new experience for me and I enjoyed it a lot.

An amazing read ! I recommend !

Second Chance SEAL: A Bad Boy Military Romance by B.B. Hamel

My Rating: 4 Stars
Series: No.
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Subject: A bad boy to save your life !

Synopsis

Gates
I have a big surprise for her.

Two years ago, I made her sweat and beg for more, and then I left to serve my country. The military owns me, and I don’t have time to get attached.

Until I come home. After meeting again for the first time since I left, she shows up at my doorstep and asks for my help. Her psycho ex-boyfriend is after her, and only a real man can keep him away.

I’ll give her what she wants. But she’s going to get a lot more than she thinks.

Piper is going to be mine. I’ll fight off her enemies and show her how hard I can be. And when I’m done, she’s going to get down and take what I have to give her.

I can’t wait to see the look on her face when I tell her what she’s doing next.

Piper
That cocky SEAL wasn’t supposed to take me again.

He was supposed to be a burning hot one night stand. I let him press my wrists down into the pillows until I couldn’t say another word. After that night, Gates left to serve overseas in Syria for two years, and I moved on with my life.

Until he showed up out of the blue, just as cocky and handsome as I remembered. All of those old memories came rushing back, and I knew I would get back down on my knees if he asked me to.

Now I need his help, but he wants more than I’m capable of giving him.

I don’t know how I can keep him from sliding my panties off when all I want to do is say yes over and over.

Second Chance SEAL is HOT, action-packed, incredibly steamy, and features some dirty language. It’s only recommended for audiences 18+.

Second Chance SEAL is a standalone, full-length novel. No cliffhanger. Guaranteed HEA.

My Review

Book given in exchange for an honest review.

It's been a while I've since I read one of BB's bad boys books and I have to say I still love them!

She always gives us super sexy men who are not afraid of fighting for their woman. They might be a little cocky at first but they always turn themselves around and come back wearing their shinning armours and save the girl.

This story was no exception, Gates is wrong for Piper in every way the first time they meet, but that is not stopping them from changing their lives for ever.

But life goes on and they are different people now, their paths shouldn't be crossing again, but life has other plans and she needs him, Gates is the only person who can help Piper survive the mess she is into.

Amazing sex scenes, strong and hilarious characters and some scary and exciting action scenes make this book a thrilling read!

I couldn't put it down!

Machine: A Bad Boy Romance (Barnes Family Book 2) by Normandie Alleman

My Rating: 4 Stars
Series: Yes, Barnes Family Book 2.
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Subject: People are't always what they seem, some might surprise you.

Synopsis
The Queen of Reality TV meets the Kingpin of Porn

She’s trying to clean up her act.

He’s the king of filth.

It will never work.

But don’t tell them that.

Dynassy Barnes isn’t known for her big heart.

She is, however, known for her heart-shaped ass and the selfies she shares with her army of social media followers. So when she meets a handsome former SEAL, she thinks she may have scored a love connection and a way to redeem her reputation with fans.

Bridger Thompson is a man of many secrets.

When an explosion in Iraq damaged his ability to satisfy his then-fiance, he never dreamed the machine he built to carry out his husbandly duties would turn into a business featuring women pleasuring themselves with it on camera. A business that could never be associated with The Barnes’ Family, the darlings of reality TV.

But Dynassy stirs a desire Bridger hasn’t felt in years, and he’s dead set on laying claim to the famous beauty—even though he fears he won’t be able to love her the way she deserves.

For that, he’d need to become a MACHINE.

My Review

Book given in exchange for an honest review.

I have read a lot of Normandie's books and loved them all, and this one was no exception.

I knew the Barnes from the previous book in this series and found them a super interesting bunch.

Dynassy seemed a bit shallow at first, but in this book we get to know her a little bit more and she turns out to be much more of a simple and regular person and less princess than what our first impression might have suggested.

Bridger seems like a regular guy, with a regular job, he has some demons from his past in the army but he is letting them go little by little. Unfortunately, he is also keeping secrets so dark that could ruin everything.

Her life is always in the spotlight and being with Bridger makes her feel normal; she is herself when he is around because he has done the impossible and make her put her guard down, she trust him completely, but nothing lasts forever.

We get to see them be free together, two people who seemed so different at first, but in the end they were exactly what each other needed.

This is an entertaining and exciting read, with some great sex scenes you don't want to miss.

Synopsis:

She’s holding out for a happy ever after.Annie
I know where to find my happily ever after—between the pages of a romance novel. It’s why I sell books, why I blog about them, and why I’ll never get disappointed by love.So what if my brother’s best friend from high school is now a bestselling author? Or that he just blew back into town on a Harley, filling out a pair of jeans like he never did before? Or that he’s agreed to do a signing at my bookstore on such short notice? Because despite all his adoring female fans, I kind of hated his book.Wes
The last time I saw Annie Denning, she was a senior in high school, three years older than me and way out of my league.
Now I’m her last-minute date to a wedding, and what started as a night of pure fun has turned into something more real than either of us anticipated.
Annie is my muse. When I’m with her, my writer’s block fades away, and the words finally flow.

The only problem? She wants the fairy tale—her very own happily ever after—and anyone who’s read my book knows the truth. I just don’t believe they exist.

My Review

Book given by Netgalley for an honest review.

This is another series I started in the middle and regret it, not because I couldn't understand or didn't like it, just because I LOVED the book and the characters so much, that now I need to know their stories, how they became the people I read about in this book.

Anyways, regarding this book, I must say it's the first one I've read by the author and liked it a lot!

The characters are funny and relatable, I loved the little bookshop and I could picture them sitting there among the smell of books, that's how good the book is.

Annie was a great character, her love for stories and happily ever after made me like her a lot and I felt super close to her. All of us, as book lovers are a little bit like that, keeping our heads inside our books and hearts in the clouds, looking for our own version of prince charming in real life.

Wes was something else, he was super hot and charming and I actually knew he would not be able to move on from Annie, they were too good together.

They were both too blinded to see it but when they lowered their walls and started to really feel each other, there was no turning back.

It was a beautiful love story, and the fact that they took their time before the big sex scene made it even better. They spend some time together so they started to really know one another and when the big moment came; their love for each other was familiar to us readers because we have seen it grow.

It was a nice change from the instant love kind of books we are used to. The almost enemies to lovers gave it a hilarious twist that resulted in back and forwards banter that I really enjoyed.

Tonic by Staci Hart

Release Date: October 13th
Genre: Contemporary Romance
My Rating: 4 Stars
Series: No.
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Subject: Fire and Ice were never a better match.

Synopsis
Joel Anderson doesn’t take anything seriously.

Not his relationships, which have been few and far between since his brutal divorce. Not the drama of working in a tattoo parlor, which seems to be around every corner. When things get him down, he smiles and cracks a joke. But he’s not the kind of man you cross, or you’ll find yourself at the wrong end of his fists.

Annika Belousov takes everything seriously.

Like her job as a reality television producer, given that she typically has something to prove. Or her love life, which is defined by a series of requirements — affluent, ambitious, accomplished, to name a few. Definitely her family, who worked their whole lives to afford her every opportunity, a sacrifice she doesn’t take lightly. When she’s tapped to produce a reality show at Joel’s shop, she doesn’t think twice, just goes in for the kill, as if there were any other way.

The second Annika walks into Joel’s shop, he makes it his mission to crack her open, but she’s not having it. He’s all wrong — too crass, too hairy, too un-serious. But it doesn’t take her long to find out there’s more to him than smirks and tattoos. And what she finds could put her career and his heart on the line.

Not that Joel cares. Because for the first time in a long time, he’s found his tonic.

My review

Book given by the author for an honest review .

Finally I got this book! I was super excited to get started since it sounded just perfect and I wasn't disappointed, the book was AMAZING!

It had one of my favourite things in romance books, sexy tattooed guys, so yeah Joel was irresistible for me. On top of everything, he wasn't a bad boy, he was sexy, funny and a great guy who everyone loved.
But he also had his demons who haunted him in ways he didn't even realised till now.

Then came Annika, the sexy Russian Ice Queen, and because of the way Joel described her, I found myself picturing her in my mind as this perfect angel with some spice in her eyes that made her unique.
She was such a strong woman who fought her way to the top and you know we love those type of lady characters than can hold their own in the world and still look sexy doing it.

They fought each other from the start, but nothing could put off their chemistry and change the fact that they were perfect together, fire and ice.

The sex scenes were out of this world the connection they shared couldn't be matched.

It was a beautiful story about letting your fears go and opening yourself up to new things, being scared is no shame but it's definitely bad when it holds you back and stops you from achieving real happiness.

A must read !

Excerpt

“Let me see it.”
“What?” I blustered, caught off guard.
“Stand up and turn around. I want to see it.” I was too surprised and caught up in the moment to refuse, so I stood and turned, laying my palms on the armrests as I faced the back of the chair.
One hand rested on my hip.
My heart stopped as I wondered what the hell I’d gotten myself into.
I glanced over my shoulder, my gaze bouncing between his face —turned down too much to read —and his reflection in the speckled, antique mirror, which I couldn’t see much of either. His free hand moved to the waistband of my tailored pants, and his fingers hooked and tugged, pulling the band down low.
His thumb ran over where I knew the tattoo was, and I felt his breath. Every place where we connected spoke to me of ownership.
“You got this done here? In New York?” His voice was rough.
Mine wasn’t much better. “Yeah. In Brooklyn.”
“Let me cover it up for you. Give you something you’re proud of. Your skin …” He paused, and I wished I could see his face, read his mind. “This shouldn’t be here, not on you. Let me … I want to …” He had moved closer, his hand on my hip pulling me back into him slightly enough for me to not have noticed that the backs of my thighs were touching his, my back arched just enough, his breath hot.
And then, he disappeared. I stood, finding my hands were trembling, wondering where I was and how I’d gotten there. The shop was mostly empty —no one had seen, not that it would have looked like much from the outside. But from where I stood, I felt every single deliberate move like a telegraph, telling me exactly what he wanted to do without him having to finish the sentence.
His back was to me when I turned around, his face down —I couldn’t see it in the mirror over his cabinet of ink and needles as he dug around in the drawers, seemingly for nothing in particular.
“Let me know if you want me to draw something up.”
“Okay, I will.” I paused, not knowing what else to say, feeling like I should say something. But there was nothing that I could say. “Well, have a good night, Joel. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
He nodded, glancing at me in the mirror. “See you, Annika.”
I tried not to bolt out of the shop, but once outside, I admit it —I took off. I hauled up the stairs and into the office to grab my bag, grateful that Laney was already gone, and I texted my driver, asking him to pick me up a few blocks away so I could walk, put some distance between me and Joel, get the energy out of my body, through my legs and feet, into the pavement.

Best Man with Benefits (Wedding Dare #4) by Samanthe Beck

My Rating: 4 Stars
Series: Yes, Wedding Dare #4.
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Subject: Finding that person that makes everything perfect.

Synopsis
A sexy category romance by Entangled’s Brazen imprint…

How far can one favour go…

Logan McCade arrives at his best friend’s wedding overworked and in desperate need of a vacation, only to discover his best man duties have been…expanded. He must coax Colton’s sister out of her shell, or risk her hiding in her room all week. Logan figures he can handle one introverted bridesmaid, but he’s not expecting how much he enjoys “handling” Sophie…or how much she enjoys being handled.

Socializing has never been web designer Sophie Brooks’s strong suit, but she’s determined to shed her wallflower image and embrace the “New Sophie”—a feat made easier with the supremely sexy Logan McCade tempting her to explore all her forbidden fantasies. If she’s not careful, she just might fall for the best man.

Sophie’s sweet, sexy, and delectably awkward demeanor brings much-needed calm to Logan’s hectic life. With the nuptials only days away, Logan is forced to face the possibility that his favor to a friend might have become something else entirely…and that he’s not willing to let Sophie go. Ever.

My Review

Book given by Netgalley for an honest review.

This book is #4 in the Wedding dare series, but can be read as a standalone, though now that I met these amazing characters I want to read all of their stories!!

The plot was beautiful! Sweet and awkward Sophie gets together with sexy adventurous Logan in her brother's wedding and things couldn't be better or hotter.

They are a perfect match and the best part is, that he makes her a better version of herself, not different though, he just sets her free so she can be who she really is without being afraid.

Sophie's issues with herself where hard to read about, because on some level, I used to have the same ones, and I think most of us do, so that's one of the reasons this book hit close to home.

Apart from the happy and funny moments the author writes about a really difficult subject, which is people's self-esteem issues and misconceptions of their own selves based on what some morons have told them or bullied them about.  Since you are young you start to create a concept about what's good and bad, nice and ugly and perfect or imperfect; and people's opinions usually have a huge weight on defining that.

In the book Sophie struggles to understand her worth and really see herself as the beautiful woman she really is, and that's when Logan comes in. He gives her the confidence to fight her own demons, but in the end, she is the one who need to understand her true worth and fight for what she loves.

Amazing read !
