Letter from the author:

Dear Readers,

Years ago a restless, troubled man sprang to life in my head, and he wouldn't leave me alone. He had a younger brother that he loved more than anything in the world, so I sat down and tried to write their story. And it wasn't very good. But these brothers--Jude and Ryan--never left me. A decade later, I realized that, like Frankenstein's monster, they were waiting for me to create their loves. And a few months later, Tell Me How This Ends was born.
The book is the first in the Tell Me trilogy, which is heartfelt, fun, and sometimes emotional. It was my pleasure to follow Jude, Ryan, and their friends through three books. I'm not going to lie; there were tears when I wrote the final scene.
I am so honored that Tell Me How This Ends has been nominated for a RITA award, but I'm even more humbled by the readers who have taken the time to tell me they love the book. I hope you love it, too.

My Review

Book given in exchange of an honest review by the author.

I have no idea where to start, this book was just so much!
I had a blast reading it and at the same time I suffered from a deep depression for a while, trying to figure out how could things get better without all of the characters dying from sadness.

The situation in which these three people find themselves is unique and disastrous at the same time. It doesn't seem to be a way to fix this in which all of them can be happy, it's just a disaster waiting to happen.
And still, I couldn't put it down, the whole story was hypnotic, I kept expecting things to go very wrong, but the characters were so truthful and honest, that they never crossed that line and I couldn't have been happier.

I loved the three of them! The part I found amazing was that the author accomplished something beautiful, she created these people who even though they were in the worst situation possible, they still made all of the best decisions, so we don't feel the need to judge them on them. I've read a lot of books where the characters are faced with this love triangles and in one point or the other, one of them makes a wrong decision or crosses a line that can't be uncrossed and we hate them a bit for it.
This was never the case in this story, I could feel their pain, Ryan who ignored his brother's feelings and looked the other way, Jude who would have given anything for his brother, even if it meant giving up his own happiness; and Lizzie who couldn't forget him, even though she tried, and made all of the right choices he has a piece of her heart and she couldn't shake him

I felt so proud of Ryan, he was the strongest of them all, even though he was the one who all of them felt the need to protect, in the end he took the decision making in his hands and became the better man, because he loved them so much and he had the strength needed to sacrifice himself.

Jude was a peculiar kind of guy, he seemed detached from life, like nothing could ever reach him. Until he saw Elizabeth, she was a mess, far away from what he usually liked, but she was the perfect imperfection for him.
Their relationship was beautiful for me, because they brought the best out of each other, but it was ugly. No heart and roses for these two, they had passion and they fought teeth and nail to avoid opening up to each other, but there was this inevitability about them.

Jude's vulnerability almost killed me, once he opened up, I was done for, he is the kind of bad boy you always wanted but couldn't get close, and now he is all yours!

Love is blind…
Especially when you’ve been abducted.

Caught in the dredges of life, Elise had come to the grudging conclusion that mediocrity was all she’d ever have.
Until a routine shopping trip turns into a deadly affair.

Taken. Two men, one a brute and the other an enigma. A cabin in the woods. One dangerous agenda.

Blindfolded and held captive, Elise’s mundane existence just got a whole lot more interesting. Thrust into the unknown, held prisoner by a man with rough hands and a gentle voice, she’s faced with her own demise while struggling against a growing desire for the unacceptable—her captor.

Will Elise make it out with her life—and heart—intact?

My Review

Book given in exchange of an honest review.

Shockingly, this is my first book by this author, I always loved the blurbs and covers but never got around to reading one until now, and I can say that I totally regret it!

I really enjoyed this book, the author’s writing captured me alongside the main character Elise and I felt every terrifying feeling she was experiencing. I also enjoyed the sexual tension between Elise and Marcus; I can understand how a situation like this would heighten your senses and make you feel everything with much more intensity.

She felt a connection right away and he kept giving her mixed signals; how could such a bad person seem so good? And why did she feel more than attraction towards him?

I didn’t like Elise that much to be honest, there were moments she had no self-esteem whatsoever and at the end she kind of ruined things a bit. It’s okay to miss someone or to feel lonely but what she was doing was something different.

A thrilling story with some exhilarating moments and also some steamy sex scenes that will test your limits.

What was that she’d said about not having encountered a penis in ages? Well, Elise was getting an up close and personal introduction with Manhandler’s member, and it was rock hard and ready to please, judging by the way it was prodding persistently between her legs as if demanding entry.
And Elise was one sick pup, because, after managing to fall asleep then waking up to the feel of it wedged between her thighs, coupled with the hardness and warmth of her captor firmly wrapped around her, she had become wetter than the Niagara Falls.
This was what happened when you went without proper male attention for too long. Clearly, her body was looking for love in all the wrong places. Holy crap! She needed to get her head screwed on straight. Nothing about her sudden and growing desire was okay. Not a damn thing.
She wasn’t sure how long she laid there, feeling the gentle throb of his cock against her buttocks, his soft breath tickling her ear, sweating from the immense heat of his body against hers—he was like an inferno!—and keeping track of the thump of his heart pounding against her back. Thanks to her lack of sight, Elise only knew sensations, and they were more than enough to send her thoughts spiraling down a rabbit hole she had no business exploring.
So when the door slammed open and Driver burst in, Elise was both terrified and relieved.
“Rise and shine!” Driver shouted at the same time Manhandler yanked Elise beneath him, covering her body with his, and roared, “What the fuck! I could have shot you, you motherfucker!”
“You’re not that trigger happy,” Driver said confidently.
Elise heard the distinct metallic click of what she assumed to be the hammer being reset—on a gun!—beside her ear.
“You’re damn lucky for that,” Manhandler snarled. “You dumb fuck.”
“Got your heart pumping. You’ve been needing to get more cardio in anyway. Get rid of those love handles.”
Manhandler growled his irritation. “Get out before I put a bullet in your ass.”
“Need a few minutes alone with the missus?”
It was then Elise became highly aware of exactly where Manhandler was positioned. Or more specifically, how. And judging by how Manhandler stiffened, his whole body going rock steady, she knew he’d realized it too.
“It’s not what it looks like.”
“Hey, I’m not saying anything. You wanna shit where you eat? Fine by me. Just don’t let it go to your head. Well, the one that counts anyway. We might have to shoot her later.” With that little gem of advice, Driver closed the door, whistling a cheery little tune as he went.
Elise, though highly disturbed, was also keenly aware of the man on top of her. His body was everywhere, so much wider and heavier than her own…and it felt amazing. Even more amazing was the hard ridge of his cock pressed right up tight against her cleft, which wouldn’t have been an issue at all had she not inadvertently opened her legs when he’d rolled on top of her, creating the perfect cradle for his hips to rest in.
And without her sight, all she could do was lie there and focus on what was going on below the waist.
“Well, this is an interesting turn of events,” Manhandler said with a casual flair that Elise found admirable, considering she was beginning to experience heart palpitations.
“Why are you on top of me?” she demanded to know, her tone fraught with irritation.
“Don’t get so defensive, buttercup. I’m not the one who spread his legs like butter.”
She gasped, affronted. “You’re the one who climbed on top of me!”
“To protect you!”
“From your egotistical asshat friend!”
“I was half asleep. I didn’t know who the hell it was,” he hissed back. Then, with a grunt, he shoved away from her. The bedsprings squawked loudly as he sprang to his feet. “You act as if I stripped you down to your panties and tried to get inside you.”
God, just those words were enough to make Elise shiver. And not in a bad way. Not at all.
Apparently, her silence was enough to give him pause. “Wait…is that what you’re pissed about?”
“What?” she asked through clenched teeth. She already knew where this was going, because she was thinking it too.
“That’s it, isn’t it?” There was a smugness to his tone that she didn’t appreciate one bit. He came closer again, and she could feel him looming over her. “You liked me on top of you.”
“No, I didn’t.” Rolling away from the sound of his voice, Elise’s feet found the floor and she popped up, wanting desperately to run away but not knowing where to go without removing the blindfold, which could very well be a death sentence.
Manhandler came up behind her, his smug attitude full-watt. “Yeah, you did. You wanted the D. Just admit it.” She felt his heat a second before she felt his lips beside her ear. In a low, gruff voice laced with desire, he said, “If you wanted it, all you had to do was ask, buttercup.”

Series: Yes, Reckless Falls Book 4.
Subject: Giving her what she needs and getting everything in return.
One taste of her has us craving more.

I'm a chef, but it's Bee that's got me feeling the heat.
My fierce little baker has got curves as sweet and sinful as her cupcakes.
And her buns are to die for.
She's perfect and I crave perfection.
But Finn craves her too.

Jackson and I are business partners and best friends.
We're used to working together.
And we swore a long time ago that we would never compete over a woman.
But Bee is driving us crazy.
Sweet cream and honey buns aren't the only thing we want to taste.
We're not going to fight over her.
We're much better as a team.
We're going to bring this little baker to her knees.
She's gonna crave us...together.

Warning: This is an MFM romance! If you don't want to read about two stubborn, possessive men falling for the same lucky woman, this isn't the book for you! But if that does sound like your kind of book, just know here are no M/M scenes, it's ALL about HER (and your!) pleasure!

CRAVE is a full-length standalone romance in the world of Reckless Falls. As a special bonus, I've included another full-length menage romance, absolutely free!

My Review
Book given in exchange of an honest review, by the author.

I have enjoyed all of the Reckless Falls books, but this one is by far my favorite!

The three main characters are so different I was surprised the fit together so well together, like long-lost jigsaw pieces.

Jackson is this ruthless chef who is now, for the first time in his life, doing what he loves without following orders and he is scared to death of failure. He was such a strong part of this thing between the three of them, I’m pretty sure that he was the reason things got started.

When he was in room it felt as if he had control over it, his Intensity could not be matched, I think it must have been a real challenge for Finn.

But Finn was strong too, he was calmer and more composed than Jackson, but he still had fire within him, he took control of some moments and made them perfect. He stepped up when it was needed and I kind of fell for him too right there.

Finally, Bee… she has had a rough life until now and after a lot of work, she is living the dream, or so she thought, until she meets these two and she realizes that she was missing out!

I really like her, she was strong and stubborn, but when the time came to give in, she didn’t hesitate, she went for it and happiness could be her ultimate price.

Their connection was insanely good! The sex scenes are crazy good and I found it impossible to put the book down.

A fast read that you don’t want to miss if you like menages!!.

Paper Fools (Hearts and Arrows #1) by Staci Hart

My Rating: 5  Stars
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Series: Yes, Hearts and Arrows #1
Cover Designer: Quirkybird Designs
Photographer: Lauren Watson Perry
Subject: Don't let the fear of losing keep you from loving.
Formerly titled Deer in Headlights, Paper Fools has been rewritten and re-edited just for you.

Aphrodite knows love — just don’t ask her to figure out her own mess.

Rather than deal with her sticky love life, she toys with the hearts of unwitting humans. It’s a little game she plays, and the stakes are high. Lucky for her, she’s just found the perfect match.

Lex is everything Dean needs, but he can’t have her.

It doesn’t matter that her eyes speak to a long forgotten part of him, or that her art and poetry touch his shredded heart. She’s off limits — crossing that line would implode his band and everything he’s ever cared about. There’s only one option: stay away from her, no matter the cost. Even if the price is his heart.

Dean is everything Lex wants, but she can’t take the risk.

The second she meets him, she knows her heart is in danger. She’s convinced it’s only attraction that has her hung up on the dark, quiet lead singer, but with every day that passes, she knows it’s more. It’s just that she can’t put her heart on the line. She won’t — love has never been worth the sacrifice.

If only they knew they were just pawns in a much bigger game. And in the game of love, Aphrodite never loses.

My Review

Book given by the author in exchange of an honest review.

I fell in love with this story, it was a hard book to read, given that we can all feel identified with Lex's fear of losing. I have it tattooed on my self "Don't let the fear of losing keep you from loving". We all have that moment in which we doubt giving in and opening our hearts to the uncertainty of love, but in the end, a few stolen moments of perfect and pure loving are worth an eternity of pain.

Lex was a beautiful character, I had a hard time reading about her lying to Travis, but in the end she did the right thing. I've been there and the author did an amazing job at capturing the pain you can feel when your heart keeps pushing you in that direction and the attraction is so much that it's nearly impossible resisting the pull.

Dean has had a troubled life, and he is the proof that everyone can change when the right person comes along, sometimes it doesn't work and you end up in a world of pain, and other times it just might give you your HEA.

This is a story of loss and love, the fact that we get two underlying love stories from the Gods makes it even better.

All of the characters learn to forgive and to let go when they accept that love is not there anymore. As easy as it sounds, when you are faced with the emptiness and fear of being alone, like Lex and Dita did, it's not that easy to let go and leave the comfort you are used to. But like the author perfectly showed us, if you don't take the leap you can miss out on something beautiful.

I'm awed, this book broke my heart and made beat so hard it sang so many times during the ride that I didn't know what was going on, I just knew that it left me with a true lesson on life and love.

She reached into her bag, digging around in the black hole for her book, but looked up, sensing someone in front of her.
When her eyes locked on his, she froze.
They were the greenest eyes she’d ever seen, shocking and bright, rimmed by thick, dark lashes. His long face was graced with an elegant nose and wide lips bent in a crooked smile. And he was tall, really tall, with ebony hair that fell forward as he looked down at her. He pushed it back without seeming to think about it, but it still looked perfectly tossed, like he’d just rolled out of bed.
She realized she still hadn’t taken a breath and flushed as she fumbled and almost dropped her book.
“Uh, hi. I’m Lex.” She tossed her hand in a wave, hoping she looked casual.
He paused for a second, watching her with an expression she couldn’t quite place. The moment seemed to stretch on forever, and as she studied him, it dawned on her that he was amused. This unnerved her, even more so when it dawned upon her that it was exactly what he wanted.
“Hey,” he said, the timbre of his voice deep and full. “I’m Dean.”
Lex realized her mouth was open. And that he was smirking. And that he was dead sexy while he was doing it.
She closed her mouth and cocked an eyebrow, putting on her snark to hide the fact that he’d gotten to her.
“Dean, huh? I heard they call you Professor Panty Dropper.”
His smile stretched wider. “Oh, is that what they say?”
“They do.”
A tall blond, who she guessed was Roe, stood at the microphone, glaring at them. “Mic check, Dean.”
They stared at each other like idiots for a split second longer before Dean turned to pick up his guitar, and he took his place with the rest of the band. She watched him walk away and blinked a few times before turning to her bag again, not looking for anything in particular — she only wanted to keep her hands busy and her eyes off of Dean while she scraped her dignity off the floor.

Walk of Shame (Love Unexpectedly #4) by Lauren Layne

My Rating:  5 Stars
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Series: Yes, Love Unexpectedly #4
Subject:Opposites attract.
Releasing April 18, 2017

Sparks fly between a misunderstood New York socialite and a cynical divorce lawyer in this lively standalone rom-com from the USA Today bestselling author of Blurred Lines and Love Story.

Pampered heiress Georgianna Watkins has a party-girl image to maintain, but all the shopping and clubbing is starting to feel a little bit hollow—and a whole lot lonely. Though Georgie would never admit it, the highlights of her week are the mornings when she comes home at the same time as her uptight, workaholic neighbor is leaving to hit the gym and put in a long day at the office. Teasing him is the most fun Georgie’s had in years—and the fuel for all her naughtiest daydreams.

Celebrity divorce attorney Andrew Mulroney doesn’t have much time for women, especially spoiled tabloid princesses who spend more time on Page Six than at an actual job. Although Georgie’s drop-dead gorgeous, she’s also everything Andrew resents: the type of girl who inherited her penthouse instead of earning it. But after Andrew caps one of their predawn sparring sessions with a surprise kiss—a kiss that’s caught on camera—all of Manhattan is gossiping about whether they’re a real couple. And nobody’s more surprised than Andrew to find that the answer just might be yes.

Book given in exchange of an honest review.

I LOVE Lauren’s books, I’m always so excited when I get the chance to read and review them!

The Love Unexpectedly Series has been truly special too, gifting us with sexy, strong and captivating gentleman who had starred in my dreams ever since.

In this book we meet Georgianna and Andrew, they are complete opposite and even at the beginning when we had no idea what would happen we can feel the tension .
He finds her irritating, she is loud, sparkly and a distraction for his perfect scheduled life, and he can’t seem to get enough of her.

Georgie is sweet, bubbly and loves to stay up all night dancing and partying; and since she can afford it there’s nothing stopping her, until him.

Their battle starts as a bickering war but soon evolves into something else altogether.

Opposite attract takes a whole new meaning in this love story where the characters couldn’t be any more different and at the same time any more compatible.

Andrew was a different kind of alpha, he was awkward and he needed time to understand his feelings and learn what to do with those. He filters everything through his head and sometimes in love you just have to go with your heart. He needs to be strong and surrender himself to a game he has never played. And when he does, there's no stopping him, just WOW an uninhibited Andrew was just too hot to handle, beware!

Georgie is not used to getting so attached to people, she just haves fun and moves on, until she gets lost in Andrew's intense stare and she is having trouble understanding his deal.

A beautiful love story, the characters had an insane attraction and it could be felt through the pages.

And who is he, you ask?
Andrew Mulroney, Esquire.
I know this because we moved into the building on the exact same day, and right before we got into a horrendous fight over whose movers should have access to the building loading dock first, he handed me his business card.
The thick white card stock declared that he had a fancy law degree to go along with the fancy suit he was wearing on a Saturday.
Andrew handed it over with such superiority, I actually wished for a half second that I had a business card of my own that would somehow be better than his. Like, lined with gold or something. No, platinum. With a diamond in the corner. It would be too heavy for him to hold, and he’d drop it, thus having to kneel at my feet to pick it up.
But then I realized it was just as well that I didn’t have a business card.
Because it would say . . . what? Georgie Watkins, professional party girl?
Anyway, I digress. Despite the high temps of that swampy July morning, the encounter had been the start of an epic cold war.
Me, the socialite in apartment 86A against the uptight esquire in apartment 79B.
I’m not entirely sure I’m winning the war, but I’ll never tell him that.
I let my gaze drift over Andrew, even though his appearance rarely holds any surprises. The man’s a lesson in sameness, like some sort of anal-retentive version of Groundhog Day.
There’s always the black mug with some healthy gunk inside held in his right hand, Tom Ford briefcase and Armani garment bag in his left, containing what I know to be a perfectly tailored three-piece suit.
Andrew’s coppery hair is perfectly styled, although I’d swear that there’s some natural curl in there threatening to disrupt his perfect order. I imagine that annoys him, so it therefore makes me happy.
Let’s see, what else about my nemesis?
He’s got a hard, unfriendly jawline that’s perfectly shaven.
Dark brown eyes, cold and flat. Black gym bag over one shoulder.
I suppose you could say he changes up his attire, because he does alternate between black and gray gym shirts. But considering that they seem to be the exact same fit, both colors molding perfectly to his impressively sculpted upper body, we’re not giving him any points for variety there.
Same goes for the lower half. The black shorts worn in summer have given way to sleek black sweatpants now that October’s upon us, but they’re both black and Nike, so we’ll give him no credit for changing it up there either.
The shoes, though . . .
I do a double take.
Well, well, well . . .
Instead of the usual black gym shoes, the man’s shoes are red. I don’t know how I missed it before.
I drag my eyes back up his body with a grin, and he gives just the slightest roll of his eyes to indicate that he’s noticed my slow perusal and isn’t fazed in the least.
“You went shopping, Dorothy!” I say happily.
He stares at me. “I don’t shop.”
Of course not. Far too frivolous.
“No, that makes sense,” I say, pointing at his feet. “Glinda would have given these to you.”
Andrew looks down at his Rolex watch. “I’ve got to go. Have a good day, Mr. Ramirez.”
“You too, Mr. Mulroney,” Ramon says with a deferential nod. “Enjoy your workout.”
“Yes, do,” I say, turning and watching as Andrew moves toward the front door of our building. “What’s on the schedule today? Treadmill, or just skipping down the Yellow Brick Road?”
Andrew Mulroney, Esquire, doesn’t respond. He doesn’t even turn before pushing through the revolving doors and stepping out into the still-dark autumn morning.
Now come on. Tell me that wasn’t at least a little bit fun, despite the ungodly hour.

I paid half a million dollars for her body but she refused to give me her heart...

She told me she would never love me because of the sinfully wrong things I swore I would do to her, so I made the biggest mistake of my life and let her go.

It isn’t until three years later when another man comes into the picture that I feel the need to step in, after all my sweet little angel’s virginity is still mine and I’ll do whatever the hell I need to, too show her that.

I may have let her go once, but this time I'm taking what's rightfully mine.

Her heart, her body, and her soul.

-This is a DARK romance, heed the warning. If you don't like alpha's, the mafia, explicit sex, or swearing then you probably shouldn't even consider reading this book. Can be read as a standalone, or in conjunction with the first two books in the series.-

My Review
Book given in exchange of an honest review.

Third book in the series and things get darker and darker. Seth is back and he wants his Angel back too but it's not gonna be that easy.

He has changed but in his life things are not that easy and he is confronted with the choice of going back to who he was or loosing the only thing he has left.

Taylor has changed too, she is now jaded, life has not been fair to her and she is in need of a savior.

It's a thrilling read and I was on the edge on my seat the whole time, needless to say I read it all in one sit and was left wanting more... that cliffhanger almost killed me!!

I enjoyed this book a lot! Crystal is a really strong woman, considering everything she had to face through her life. She is a little broken too but who wouldn't be?
Trusting again after everything that has happened to her is not an easy task but if you happen to run into someone like bear it might be impossible to resist giving in.

I loved bear, he knew what he wanted and he wasn't scared to go for it, it didn't mater what it took, he wasn't afraid of looking like a fool if in the end he got her. He was so patient with her, it warmed my heart just how much he was willing to give up to make her happy.

A true love story, where the characters make each other stronger and become better and happier than any of them thought they could be.

The sex scenes are just perfect, the intimacy and attraction we are dealing with is not something you can take lightly and it was hard to look away from their fire.

First book by the author and I have to say I'm a fan!

“Really, Bear. I can drop you at your place before I go to the fabric shop.” Crystal started the car, feeling more in control than she had inside the shop. She hated the way she’d frozen up when things had gotten hot between them. She wanted him. After putting herself through three years of therapy, dealing with not only the trauma of the attack, but the bullshit with her mother and the loss of her father, she was sure she could handle anything. She’d dated other guys since she’d left college without issue. Why did it have to be different with the only guy she wanted to be close to? It pissed her off that her past still owned a piece of her, and she needed to get over it before Bear got fed up and walked away for good.
“I have to go to the store anyway.” He flashed one of his smiles. “We might as well go together.”
“You need to go to the fabric store?” she said flatly, knowing he was bullshitting her. She realized her car smelled different, cleaner. The seats were shiny, the dashboard dust free. “Did you clean my car?”
“Detailed it,” he said casually, as if he did this type of thing every day. For all she knew, he did. “Changed your oil, topped off your fluids. You really need to do those things every three thousand miles.” He touched the doll hanging from her rearview mirror. “I dusted off this, too, even though I’m a little worried that it’s a voodoo doll.”
She wasn’t about to tell him it was a worry doll that she loved more than life itself.
“Bear.” She couldn’t suppress her smile about the voodoo doll as she drove toward the store. “You really need to stop acting like you have to take care of me. I appreciate you handling the inspection, which I’m paying you for, by the way. But you don’t have to do all these things for me. I already like who you are.” Even if I have a hard time showing it.
“I know you do,” he said, as cocky as ever.
Why is that such a turn-on?
“I didn’t do it to get your attention. Shit, six three, two thirty.” He flexed his biceps and winked. “You’re sitting next to Peaceful Harbor gold, baby. I’ve got your attention.”
She couldn’t suppress a laugh. “That you do, and probably half the women in this town.”
“Only half?”
He kept her laughing the whole way to the fabric store, and it was just what she needed. It really had been a long day. They’d hosted three parties, and one of the mothers was just about the most obnoxious woman on earth. She’d pushed her daughter toward pink frilly outfits for the first half hour, when all the little cutie had wanted was to dress up as a skateboard princess. Gemma realized Crystal was going to strangle the wench, and she’d calmly suggested the woman head down to Jazzy Joe’s for coffee. The rest of her day hadn’t been much better. Plus, she’d spent the morning overthinking everything about her relationship with Bear, which was probably why she’d freaked out when she’d really been dying to kiss him.
She parked in front of the fabric store. There were some things that just didn’t fit in the world as Crystal knew it, and Bear Whiskey clad in a tight black T-shirt that said Whiskey Bro’s across his massive chest, a pair of snug, low-slung black jeans, and leather boots strutting into Jennilyn’s Fabric was on the top of the list.
She pulled her list from her bag as his eyes coasted over the store. What was he thinking, coming with her? That was dedication she could not ignore. The epitome of commitment.
That is Bear.
My Bear?
She toyed with that as he draped his arm over her shoulder. She wondered what had taken him so long. She’d expected him to do it the second she’d stepped from the car, but he was probably in shock that they were actually going to a fabric store. She smiled to herself as he leaned closer and rubbed his nose along her cheek.
“Can I help you?” she asked with a laugh.
“You smell like jelly beans, and I happen to have a thing for sugary goodness.”
“You can’t seriously have that good a sense of smell.”
He pressed an unexpected, and deliciously warm, kiss to her cheek and reached into her purse, withdrawing a bag of jelly beans. “Hoarding? Or were we going to hide these later in your body and let me find them?” He moved his mouth beside her ear and whispered, “Blindfolded. With my hands tied behind my back.”
He nudged her deeper into the store. Holy crap. She’d stopped walking. Was she breathing? And was that a thing? Blindfolded? Hands tied behind his back? Oh, the control that would give her. She’d be at no risk of being overpowered. But would she want that much control? She imagined herself lying naked on her bed, watching as his greedy mouth moved over her breasts, down her belly, and she felt herself go damp.
No, no, no.
Ice cream. Ice baths. Cow poop!
Her body continued vibrating from the inside out. This was bad. Really, really bad. Like a virus she couldn’t shake. She needed an anti-Bear pill. Stat
