Wild Sexy Hurt: Wild Sexy Series #3 by Serena Grey

My Rating: 4 Stars
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Series: Yes, Wild Sexy Series #3
Subject: Will a small lie destroy it all?
He's a sexy, naughty, multiple-orgasm giving, melt-your-insides, sex-god of a man.

But as far as Daphne is concerned, Jason Wild is also a liar whose feelings for her she can't bring herself to trust. She never wants to see him again, even though she still craves him with every cell of her body.

Jason is not going to let anything get in the way of his feelings for Daphne. But how can he convince the girl who has been happily alone for most of her life, that they are meant to be together?

This is the third installment in Serena Grey's Wild Sexy Series. The first two books in the series are Wild Sexy Thing and Wild Sexy Fix. If you like hot men, steamy scenes and panty-melting heat, don't miss this series.

Daphne is hurt, she opened up her heart and it was obliterated to pieces when Jason's lie was revealed.
In her mind she didn't know how could she trust anything else that had happened between them. She went back behind her walls and pushed everyone else out.

Alone was better, then nobody could play her and hurt her. She had done it once, she could do it again.

The thing is, once you have seen the light and warmth of love, going back to being alone can feel like a empty dark room. She could no longer find delight in anything in her life, she was just going through the motions.

Jason is not stepping down, he will prove to her that his feelings are true, his player old ways don't apply to her, she is everything he never knew he wanted.

Both of them had been not feeling for so long that they don't know the rules to this new game where everything is love and pain.

Will they be able to find a way back to each other, or will their fears get the best of them.

Being alone because you're scared of being hurt again is never the answer, because you end up losing the chance to experience the best feelings in life, to be love by someone else and love them back with all your heart.

Strong (Stage Dive #4.5) by Kylie Scott

My Rating: 4 Stars
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Series: Yes, Stage Dive #4.5.
Subject: He will be everything she needs.
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kylie Scott comes a new story in her Stage Dive series…

When the girl of your dreams is kind of a nightmare.

As head of security to Stage Dive, one of the biggest rock bands in the world, Sam Knowles has plenty of experience dealing with trouble. But spoilt brat Martha Nicholson just might be the worst thing he’s ever encountered. The beautiful troublemaker claims to have reformed, but Sam knows better than to think with what’s in his pants. Unfortunately, it’s not so easy to make his heart fall into line.

Martha’s had her sights on the seriously built bodyguard for years. Quiet and conservative, he’s not even remotely her type. So why the hell can’t she get him out of her mind? There’s more to her than the Louboutin wearing party-girl of previous years, however. Maybe it’s time to let him in on that fact and deal with this thing between them.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

It's been a while since I read a Stage Dive novel and I was super excited to know what they've been up to !

This time it was Sam and Martha's story.

They've know each other since forever and until this moment she had never really seen him. But there's something about him she now sees that makes it impossible for her to ignore.

When people tell her she has been blind all this time she still doesn't get it, how could he be attracted to her when everything about her past would make every man run for their life.

Sam is done waiting, he has been in the sidelines for too long. He feels she is ready for everything he has planned for her and she is not running away again.

Her plan is simple, she can handle no strings attached sex, but she has no idea Sam is not having any of that and she is soon swept under her feet by his calm and sexy personality.

If she wants to be on charge he will let her try, because he knows he is the perfect man for her.

There was something so pure about Sam, he knows her so well he has the secret recipe to make her happy.

Martha has suffered for so long that being seen for the first time changes everything she has ever known about love.

Intense sex scenes and a sweet road to happily ever after.

“Ooh, busted,” said Lizzy. “The bodyguard caught you looking.”

“Shut it.” I inched my chin up a bit, trying not to frown because frowning gave you lines.

“Sam and I have known each other for years and nothing has ever happened. You’re completely wrong about this.”

“Am I?”

“Yes, there’s nothing between us.”

“So that’s why you were staring at him?”

I chose not to answer that. “And you know he prefers to be called executive protection officer instead of bodyguard.”

At this, Lizzy burst out giggling, a malicious glee in her eyes. No wonder I liked my sister-in-law these days.

Ben shot us both an irritated glance. We both ignored it.

Of course, I’d known Sam would probably be here. Rock stars going out in public could be a delicate thing. People had a tendency to get overexcited. And while one person wanting an autograph wasn’t a problem, twenty or thirty of them suddenly swarming definitely could be. Having once been part of the entourage, I’d seen it happen to Ben and his fellow Stage Dive band members enough times to be wary. And you couldn’t get by with ordinary security. Rock stars needed protection from their over-zealous fans, but on the other hand they didn’t want the fans roughed up or hurt in any way. It required a delicate balance: control, experience, and a whole gamut of scary physical skills. Hence Sam.

Still, Portland seemed generally less crazy than the good old days back in LA. All of the guys seemed calmer and more settled away from the constant craziness of the party scene. Not to mention the effect of all of the wives/partners and various offspring. The biggest rock band in the world had officially been domesticated.

It was kind of cute. Or sad. I don’t know.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to stir you,” she lied. “What do you think of your brother’s new musical bromance?”

On the small stage set up in the corner of the room, a young man wailed his heart out while playing an acoustic guitar. Much angst about a girl who only called him after midnight. Trust a rockster to turn a simple booty call into a heartbreaking ballad. The song was damn good though. He had talent. If only I hadn’t had my fill of the type when I was younger. The kid looked to be in his early to mid-twenties. Lanky with lots of tattoos. Your typical rock ’n roll Prince Charming. Gag. These days my type ran more toward…actually, what I needed or wanted in a male was a total mystery.

And my gaze did not stray back to Sam. That did not happen.

Lost in Bliss, Nights in Bliss, Colorado Book 4 (Nights in Bliss, Colorado #4) by Lexi Blake

My Rating: 5 Stars
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Series: Yes, Nights in Bliss, Colorado #4.
Subject: Finding home.
Re-released in a second edition with new content.

Laura Niles walked out the door and never looked back. As she left Washington, DC, her career was in ruins and her love life decimated. Her desperate flight eventually led her to Bliss, Colorado, where she managed to find a new home and a little peace. That will have to be enough because Laura cannot imagine finding happiness without the men she left behind.

For five years, Rafe Kincaid and Cameron Briggs have searched for the only woman they ever loved. When she disappeared, everything became crystal clear. For one night, everything had been perfect and instead of embracing what they had found, they let it all slip away. They had let worries about their FBI careers and what others might think destroy the most precious gift they had ever been given. Now they have finally tracked her down, and they want answers.

Laura is shocked when her former loves show up in her new home. When the full force of the FBI arrives with them, Laura knows that the quirky little town is in for a rough ride. The killer that ruined her life has been watching and waiting for the opportunity to strike again. For Rafe, Cam, and Laura it’s time for second chances — to stop a monster, and to reclaim everything they lost.

Barnes & Noble:

Oh how I missed the people from Bliss, they are a fun group to say the least.

Anytime someone new comes into town we know we are in for some action and some crazy sex scenes and this story is no exception.

Cam and Rafe had been looking for her for five years; she disappeared without a trace after something awful happened to her that broke all of them.  Now that they know where she is they are not taking no for an answer, she will have to listen to them and they are not leaving without her, even if they have to carry her over their shoulders.

Laura has finally found her home, and she is content at last, even happy you could say. Or that is what she thinks until she sees Rafe a Cam walk into town and her whole world gets shaken to the core.

Her past has caught up with her and she is petrified he will find her again and finish the job. But running is not an option; she is done escaping her fears.

Making a choice about her men and standing up to her biggest nightmare is the only way she will be able to move on and stop looking back in anger and pain.

Rafe and Cam have to learn how to work together and finally become a team, otherwise there’s a chance they will lose her forever this time.

I think my favorite scene was the men meeting with these two. To be able to see how they interacted with all of the men from Bliss and to see a little bit of their antics again was priceless. I missed my favorite guy Max (dreamy sight).

NY Times and USA Today bestselling author Lexi Blake lives in North Texas with her husband, three kids, and the laziest rescue dog in the world. She began writing at a young age, concentrating on plays and journalism. It wasn’t until she started writing romance and urban fantasy that she found the stories of her heart. She likes to find humor in the strangest places and believes in happy endings no matter how odd the couple, threesome, or foursome may seem.

Rafe didn’t miss the way Laura’s body went still, her muscles stiffening where a moment before she’d been laughing with her friends. She changed the second she became aware of them. It wasn’t the greeting he would prefer. Back when they were friends, when she would see him coming, her whole body would go soft and a welcoming smile would transform her face from something professional to an intimate visage, one only meant for someone close to her. He’d taken great pride in the fact that he’d only ever seen that look on her face for one other person.
“Hello, bella.”
She frowned at him. Even with her lips turned down, she was stunning. She looked only slightly out of place in her yellow heels. The rest of her outfit was charmingly Western. She had on a full cotton skirt, a yellow tank top, and a light denim jacket. It wasn’t far off from what many of the other women were wearing, yet Laura made it seem elegant. Everything she did had an air of grace to it, even when she was bitching at him.
“I thought I asked you to stop calling me that.”
He wasn’t going to let her push him. He gave her what he hoped was an easy smile. “And I asked you to stop calling me asshole. I doubt you’ve done that. Dance with me.”
Her eyes widened, a look of horror crossing her face. “No.”
“Come on, baby. Don’t say no.” Cam crowded her, but she held her ground. Those heels were planted firmly in the grass beneath her. “I can’t dance with you until you dance with him. I lost the coin flip.”
“Oh, that’s romantic.” Her hands found her hips, and those gorgeously full lips pursed. “Every woman in the world wants to be won by the flip of a coin.”
“We didn’t have time to play cards,” Rafe admitted. He was well aware that people were listening in. Oh, they were pretending to be doing other things, but they leaned over and then talked behind their hands. The citizens of Bliss seemed to be enjoying the drama. Damn, he couldn’t get used to it. In DC, no one paid a bit of attention to what was going on around them. He tried to ignore it. “We weren’t sure how else to handle it, bella. You have to teach us.”
Her lips rose in a sarcastic grin. “See, that’s easy. Let me teach you how to handle a situation like this. You both turn around and walk out the way you came in. You get in your car and drive to Alamosa and get on a plane back to DC.”
Cam sighed. “That’s not going to happen.”
Cam ran a hand up her arm, and Rafe was satisfied with the way she shivered. She still responded to Cam. Would she respond to him? He reached out and took her hand, studying it. Her hand was small in his, her skin fair against his olive tone. Her nails weren’t as long as she used to keep them, but they were still manicured and painted a pretty pink. “Come on and dance with me. We came all this way. We’ve looked for so long. Can’t you spare a moment of your time? I promise to behave.”
He wouldn’t behave. He had every intention of reminding her of the chemistry they’d had, but he wasn’t going to announce it.
“Fine.” She pushed off of the picnic table she’d been leaning against. “One dance and that’s all.”
“With both of us,” Cam added quickly, pushing the advantage. “It’s only fair. Otherwise, we’ll both dance with you here and now.”
There it was. Rafe’s heart soared. Her eyes had flared momentarily, and it wasn’t with disgust. When they had checked into the odd motel at the edge of town, they had decided it would be best to come at her together. She’d been turned on by sex with both of them. They needed to remind her of what they had to offer.

Chasing Him (Bishop Brothers #3) by Kennedy Fox

My Rating: 5 Stars
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Series: Yes, Bishop Brothers #3.
Subject: Sometimes life surprises you.
Chasing Him is a full-length 110k+ words standalone novel that’s filled with angst, sexual tension, and plenty of forbidden temptation! Let Kennedy Fox take you to the South for a hot, captivating adventure that’ll surely leave your Kindles on fire!

John Bishop isn’t your typical single dad.
Reserved, impatient, and utterly clueless.

Running the family’s bed and breakfast has many perks. Working long hours, picking up after the guests, and hearing couples going at it all night long aren’t any of them. Hooking up with girls who come to the ranch for horseback riding lessons? Best perk of them all.

That is until a baby shows up at his doorstep with a note claiming it’s his. Growing up on a ranch was anything but easy, but raising a newborn is proving to be the hardest task he’ll ever tackle. Leaving the bachelor life behind, his only priority is to hire a nanny who can teach him a thing or two about parenting — except he doesn’t anticipate her being gorgeous and quirky with an unhealthy football obsession.

Mila Carmichael has many talents — making balloon animals, creating origami art, and remaining in the friend zone. Often seen as one of the guys, she’s struck out more times than a rookie baseball player.

Seeking a new adventure, she flies to Texas to visit family and is offered a position she can’t refuse. Helping out a new dad should come easy to her, considering her past experience, but what she doesn’t anticipate is him being an attractive Southern temptation.

But that’s only the beginning.

While growing close to his family and falling madly in love with the baby girl who’s stealing their hearts, things are bound to get complicated. Everyone knows not to mix business with pleasure. That means no late movie nights, no stolen glances, and definitely no kissing behind closed doors. Too bad the universe has other plans — one that’ll threaten taking away the main thing that binds them together.

John is the quiet twin, we didn't know a lot about him, Jackson is always stealing the spotlight and he seems tamed compared to him. But things aren't always as they seem, he is a playboy too and he has had his fair share of women.

He is content in life and even though he is not scared of settling down he was not expecting a baby to be delivered to his doorsteps and now his life has changed forever.

He takes on the father role as a pro, but being a single dad is not an easy task to accomplish, he is in desperate need for help and that's when Mila comes into his life.

She is light and laughter, there's an energy about her that is contagious and she easily inserts herself into their life in a way that makes is impossible for John to remember how life was before her and a future where she is not with them.

Mila had great plans, this vacation was supposed to be a break before real life started. But fate surprised her and she found out that sometimes life is in the people you cross along the way, and following her well crafted plans might mean losing everything else that makes her happy.

Sometimes we might think we know what we want but our priorities might change when love finds its way in or hearts

Needing Him (Bishop Brothers #2) by Kennedy Fox

My Rating: 5 Stars
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Series: Yes, Bishop Brothers #2.
Subject: Don't let the fear of losing keep you from loving.
Needing Him is a full-length 100k+ words standalone novel that's filled with hilarious banter, forbidden office relations, and plenty of enemies-to-lovers drama! Let Kennedy Fox take you to the South for a fun, steamy adventure that'll surely leave your Kindles on fire!

Evan Bishop is your typical hotshot doctor.
Hardass, brooding, and all business.

Instead of working on the family ranch, Evan broke the mold and became an ER doctor.
He’s good with his hands—in more ways than one—smart as a whip and is the definition of God’s gift to women. Being a gentleman is in his Southern roots, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t flawed. Exclusive dating has never been a top priority and his tragic past makes him stay at arm’s length. Deciding to let loose for a wild night, he takes a page from the Bishop brother’s relationship book and hooks up with a mysterious girl he’ll never have to see again, which is perfect for this self-proclaimed bachelor.

Emily Bell is a city girl through and through but is determined to get away from her family and past. All she wants is a fresh start and to make a name for herself in the medical field. No random hookups and no dating coworkers—that’s her new motto after being burned time and again. When she agrees to attend a wedding as a plus-one, she’s soon ditched and left to drink solo—but not for long. Mr. Suit is the ultimate temptation with his Southern charm, messy blond hair, and irresistible sex appeal. Everything about him screams bad news, but he makes her reconsider her rules just for one night.

After all, some rules are made to be broken.

They want the same thing—one night of passion then they’ll go their separate ways. No cuddling afterward. No next day phone calls. No awkward goodbyes. Too bad the universe has other plans—one that’ll be obvious when they report to work on Monday morning.

*A contemporary romance with a little Southern drama. This is book 2 in the Bishop Brothers series. Each book features a different brother and can be read as a complete standalone. HEA guaranteed!*
Not suitable for readers under 18 due to adult language and sexual content.

Evan is a professional his life revolves around his work and his family. Till this book, we had no idea what had happened to him that made him swear off women, but this time we get to learn his story.

Letting loose is not something he does every day but there's something about this girl that makes him feel the need to explore. He doesn't remember the last time he wanted someone so much as he wants her.

Emily needs a break, her goal is to have fun and let go of everything for a night and Evan seems to be the perfect guy for that.

Just one night and they go their separate ways. But things are never that easy and they find themselves getting even closer than they would have expected.

They are both afraid, none of them is ready for this thing building between them. If they let go of their fears they might find something worth fighting for.

Evan is scared of losing again, he is not sure he can stand that again in his life time.

Emily doesn't trust anyone and taking a chance on this cocky doctor seems like a bad idea.

Will they let go of their fears and just trust their hearts?
