Down and Dirty (Hot Jocks #5) by Kendall Ryan

My Rating: 5 Stars
Series: Yes, Hot Jocks #5.
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Subject: I happened in Vegas
Synopsis:
Your favorite hot jocks are back with an all new stand-alone novel.

Whoops.

Last night in Vegas is a blur. There were drunken shenanigans … And now I’m waking up naked wrapped around Landon freaking Covington, my incredibly hot younger guy friend, with a wedding ring on my finger and a marriage certificate on the table next to me.

Like I said, whoops. I’m thirty. I should know better, but what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right?

Well, apparently not.

Because I’ve married the last alpha-male virgin on the planet. Yep, virgin. And my stubborn, oddly traditional new husband doesn’t want a divorce. He wants me.

If you like sexy, confident men who know how to handle a stick (on and off the ice), and smart women who are strong enough to keep all those big egos in check, this series of athlete romances is perfect for you!

(Books can be enjoyed in any order.)

Short, fun and sexy story. Always fun to read about the old characters in the series and finding out what they have been up to.

The fun Vegas drunken wedding theme has been overused, but in this case we get the breath of fresh air by having the newly weds not freak out (that much) and actually give it a try from the start.

They were separated by an age difference and opposite taste and personality traits. But that didn’t seem to be a problem once they let go and started to enjoy and get to know one another.

Bree has always put her career first cause she didn’t want to depend on anyone. But now being already successful, can she give herself a chance to find love?

Landon has been waiting for the one, his secrets has yet to be discovered. Will it change how Bree sees him? Can she move on from it and take a chance on him ?

I loved Landon! He tried so hard from the begging. He was a hundred percent conscious and sure about her and he wasn’t taking the marriage lightly. He was in it for the long run.

Him trying to make all the right moves and decisions to make her happy was so cute and amazing. Who wouldn’t fall for that guy?!

And we are not even talking about that smoking hot sex scenes. I mean... that first scene was golden!

Taking chances in love, opening yourself to trusting people is what love is all about.

And I’m all about it!

Amazing read!
