Hard Sell (21 Wall Street #2) by Lauren Layne

My Rating: 5 Stars
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Series: Yes, 21 Wall Street #2.
Subject: Finding a way to trust again.
Synopsis:
He’s a Wall Street wolf. She’s been hired to tame him. From New York Times bestselling author Lauren Layne comes a wildly sexy novel of business and pleasure.

Twenty-eight and filthy rich, Matt Cannon is the youngest broker on Wall Street. He may be a “boy wonder,” but he’s every inch a man. Ask any woman—any night. But when Matt’s latest fling makes scandalous headlines, his clients get anxious, and his bosses at Wolfe Investments level an ultimatum: keep his assets zipped, get a “real” girlfriend, and clean up his act. Only one woman can help Matt with something this hard.

For PR genius Sabrina Cross, the best fixer in Manhattan, playing Matt’s steady is going to be a challenge, even if it’s just for show. They already have an explosive history, she can’t stand the cocky party boy, and worse—she can’t stop thinking about him. So who’ll dare to break her “no touching” rule first? Because when that happens, Matt and Sabrina’s game of let’s pretend will get so hot it could set both their reputations on fire.

Matt and Sabrina had been dancing around each other for the longest time.
They hated their guts but when they where together everything else stopped.
They didn't make sense but they were like magnets, who would had to figure out a way to either stop this between them or give themselves over to the craziness, otherwise they would destroy each other.

Matt's predicament comes in handy because now they need to find a way to make people believe they are in love, and that they can actually stand to be close to one another.

It looks like an impossible task, but as weeks go by they realize that something is building between them and there is way more than hate in their hearts.

Sabrina is scared, she only had herself to depend on her whole life, she didn't trust men and given Matt's history she was sure she couldn't trust him.

Matt had never wanted anything like he wants her other than his job, he is willing to give everything up just to have her and he has no idea why. These feelings are new to him and they scare him to death.

Both of them need to accept what's happening and that means being vulnerable to getting hurt by someone else. Putting your heart in someone's hand is scary, it's so fragile and once you've done it you're at the mercy of that person. But it can also be rewarding, when that person is the right one they will cherish it as it was their's most valuable possession.
