Hot and Badgered (Honey Badger Chronicles #1) by Shelly Laurenston

My Rating: 5 Stars
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Series: Yes, Honey Badger Chronicles #1.
Subject: Embracing the craziness
Synopsis:
It’s not every day that a beautiful naked woman falls out of the sky and lands face-first on grizzly shifter Berg Dunn’s hotel balcony. Definitely they don’t usually hop up and demand his best gun. Berg gives the lady a grizzly-sized t-shirt and his cell phone, too, just on style points. And then she’s gone, taking his XXXL heart with her. By the time he figures out she’s a honey badger shifter, it’s too late.

Honey badgers are survivors. Brutal, vicious, ill-tempered survivors. Or maybe Charlie Taylor-MacKilligan is just pissed that her useless father is trying to get them all killed again, and won’t even tell her how. Protecting her little sisters has always been her job, and she’s not about to let some pesky giant grizzly protection specialist with a network of every shifter in Manhattan get in her way. Wait. He’s trying to help? Why would he want to do that? He’s cute enough that she just might let him tag along—that is, if he can keep up . . .

Another of Shelly’s fantasy worlds I couldn’t help falling in love with.

Last time it was the Crows, now we get to meet a lot of shifters, that are hilarious and insane most of the time, and it was perfect!

The MacKilligan sisters are a force of nature and each of them has different set of skills that makes them unique and special. It also makes them lethal and each action scene was incredible to read.

They can’t seem to escape trouble, the family curse follows them everywhere they go, and they somehow cross paths with an amazing family of bear shifters.

Berg had no idea who she was but when he saw Charlie he knew he wanted her.  What he didn’t know was that fate would cross their paths again and he would be helpless against her.

He was here to stay she was what he wanted, the only problem was keeping her there long enough to convince her that he could be everything she wanted too.

I LOVED Stevie, she was the craziest of them all, and her panic attacks where triggered by the most illogical logic I’ve ever witnessed. Her obsession with the panda was just too good to be true; I truly think she is my spirit animal!

I still feel we only got to really meet Charlie, Max and Stevie are still a mystery, and I can’t wait to uncover it!
