Lo and Maverick’s story continues, we have seen them have their moment on the first book and we were sure it was their time. But unfortunately for them, life has other plans and it will give them another great fight before it lets them enjoy their love.
They are perfect together; their chemistry is something out of a fairy tale. She is everything he needs and he could be that too for her if she accepted him and let her walls come down.
But Lo is getting weaker and weaker, she is not in control of the situation at all and that is not something she is comfortable with. She finds herself at her breaking point, so the choice is to let go of him or fight for her love.
Maverick has finally accepted his feelings for her and he now knows he is not stopping until he gets all of her. Losing Lo is not an option, but he is in a fight against a great adversary that has the power to destroy them all.
