Rex: A Scifi Alien Romance by Kylie Gold

My Rating:  5 Stars

Series: Yes, #3 Rebel Lords

Sex Scenes: Yes.

Subject: Finding your new adventure could be closer than you thought.

Summary

**Contains ALL THREE Rebel Lords books!!**

This rebel alien prince will make his human captive beg for more.

Clara Burns barely knows the Navani. They’re a mysterious race of warrior aliens that have been all but enslaved by her father’s corporation. She’s supposed to stay away from them, but she finds their enormous, muscular bodies too intriguing for her own good.

Violence breaks out faster than Clara could have imagined. When the Navani rebels set off a bomb in the city square, one of those strange and intense aliens saves her life. His name is Rex, and he’s going to keep Clara for as long as he wants her.

Clara begins to realize that Rex is not what he seems. Dark and brooding on the surface, Rex could easily break Clara into pieces. Instead, he tenderly undresses her and takes care of more than just her wounds.

Now the Navani rebels want to use Clara while her father wants her back. Rex is stuck in the middle, unwilling to give away his new human prize.

Can Rex and Clara get past their differences and work together? Or will the war break them apart and destroy everything they’ve built?

Adults only! This full-length science fiction alien romance contains violence, swearing, and lots of steamy sex. Rex is a standalone novel, no cliffhanger, guaranteed HEA, and includes the first TWO books in the Rebel Lords series, Dracon and Nova!

My Review

I got this book by the author for an honest review as well as the other two in the series and I loved them all!

I LOVE Scifi romance and this story was no exception! I already knew I would love this new Navani- human couple since they seem to be so hot and perfect !

The Navani men are what any of us would fantasise about and picture in our heads if we wanted sexy alien man, just wow. They are strong, confident, total gentleman and ultimately, the hero each leading lady of the book needed.

In this book we get the next part of the story on how humans are destroying Shaviro and we get to read a little bit about how Nova's story unfolded and how the treaty affected them.

This was my favourite couple of the three, Clara is sure of what she wants and not for a second doubted that she wanted him. She trusted him from the first moment and there was no love drama involved, they just clicked.

Maybe it was easier, given that the interracial couple thing already existed, still they went with the flow and it was beautiful to read.

Again, I loved the whole story, and in this book you get the other two stories for free, so I would recommend them without hesitation ! The Series is a must read for me !

Blackbird (an Online Romance) by Fran Seen

My Rating: Four Stars

Series: Well its part of the Online Romance series but the books are not connected.

Sex Scenes: Yes.

Subject: Online Romance, love in a Romeo and Juliet kind of way !

Summary:
What do a full-blooded Cherokee and a law student have in common? A Wi-Fi signal, their shared morbid interest: cemetery porn, and familial obligations keeping them from meeting.
Six years ago, I met Blackbird on an internet forum, drawn in by our shared interest: cemetery porn. We chatted every single day, until Blackbird vanished, leaving no indication he ever existed at all.
Armed with only a name and mailing address, I journey to Cherokee, North Carolina, home of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, to discover if Blackbird is alive. What I uncover in the land of blue smoke is beyond anything I imagined, and the faceless stranger on the other side of my computer screen is a harborer of puzzling secrets and unsavory truths.
Should I sever our connection for good?
Or should I stay and weave my way through Cherokee culture and tradition, in hopes of unearthing the man behind the keyboard?

My Review:

I got this book by the author for an honest review and even though it wasn't as good as LoneWolff it was an Amazing book !

The Characters in this book are closer to each others age, and they don't have all those lies from the beginning which made it easier at first.

They seem to connect really good, but I missed the getting to know each other, and by that I mean that I was hoping a little more insight as why they fell for each other.

That being said, I loved Blackbird character, he was strong and sexy, and she literally fell to his feet (which was hilarious BTW).

The Sex scenes were crazy good, he was such an animalistic guy that there's no way in hell not to love him !

She was kind of a weird character for me, at first she was so weak and absent from her own life, and then she just took over the seduction like a lioness...Only to run away like a scare little kitten.

Both of them had a hangup about who they were supposed to be in life and who they really wanted to be... but they found a way to figure it all out.

Lone Wolf: an Online Romance, by Fran Seen

My Rating: Five Stars
Series: Nope

Sex Scenes: Yes.
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Subject: steamy romance about the consequences of lying to strangers online.

Summary:
My name is Ellie Faye.
I am a deceiver of internet strangers.

Caught between the shadows of functioning as my high school's social pariah and the illumination of my computer screen, I assumed countless online personas. My one rule: like Cinderella, my fairytale identities abided by a strict curfew.

My fallacies began and ended within the same day--until I accepted a chat request from LoneWolff. He was a collection of secrets the two of us could only whisper through keystrokes. The fabrications I wove into our connection tangled and twisted for two years, for I treasured LoneWolff the way forbidden things were always treasured: in secret and with unbridled greed.

The fateful day arrived, when LoneWolff unravelled my prickliest lie, and in a torrent of curses, assured me our relationship was over.

But our story was far from concluded.
And neither of us can hide behind our computer screens anymore.

My Review
I got this book from the author for an Honest review and I couldn't put it down!

The mystery between the main characters had me unable to stop reading till I finished the whole book.

The way the characters complement each other during their online chatter, and without actually realizing it, they help each other through their problems.

I knew they were going to be amazing together, and the fact that he is so secluded makes absolute sense to me.

I don't want to spoil it for anyone so I won't keep going on the plot.

Their story is beautiful, and it teaches us about not paying attention to what everyone thinks about us and just be happy with ourselves.

We don't have to be like everyone else, the greatness lies on the uniqueness.
