Excerpt
Before she could react, B sat up and grabbed her with his freshly set hand, drawing her face towards his.  He felt his heart leap as their lips touched ever so gently at first.  He’d dreamed of kissing her since the first time he’d laid eyes on her, and could only hope that the feelings she’d admitted to were true.  Her lips moved softly upon his, her tongue darting out to lick along the line of his lips.  B opened his mouth and let her in, their tongues sliding together sensually as his body came to life.  It was a feeling he thought he’d never fully experience, the blood pounding in his veins, his heart jumping in his chest.  Mara’s arms came up to circle him, one around his back, the other sliding up his neck, her nails raking along his scalp near the nape of his neck.  The tiny shivers from her sharp little nails were more erotic than any sexual experience he’d ever had.  B’s heart felt like it was soaring free.  Maybe there really could be a happy ending for him.

The Handy Men by Jamie K. Schmidt

My Rating:  4 Stars
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Series: No.
Subject: You can have all you want.
Synopsis
Jack and Dean love each other, but they’re missing the woman to complete their triangle. When newly divorced Paige Richards buys a Bed and Breakfast on Hamlet Island and employs them to help her fix the inn up, Jack and Dean are sure they’ve found the one they’ve been looking for. Despite the playful, sexy clues they drop, luscious Paige is reticent about getting involved, even when they set the stage so she can stumble on them in action. They can tell by her responses she wants to join them, but rumors travel fast on the small island, and tales of a threesome could get back to the conservative, family vacation crowd who won’t patronize those with an alternative lifestyle. And the last thing they want for Paige is the B&B’s rooms…and her bank account…to remain empty. But Jack and Dean will stop at nothing to prove to Paige that she can have it all…with them.

My Review

Book given in exchange of an honest review.

Okay, as you all well know, I love menages! And if we are all being honest to ourselves who wouldn’t be thrilled to have all that attention?!

Jack, dean and Paige’s story was just was I needed, the fact that the guys where in a M/M relationship just made things hotter, I did enjoy their solo scenes and little moments.

I find it hard to explain what I love about this type of books, their connection was just perfect and the sex scenes where Hotter that hell.
The characters where developed just enough for us to get to know them and enjoy their little quirks.

Paige got stronger as the story kept developing, mostly because she let go of her inhibitions, but she also found herself again after her ex's betrayal and became the woman she was always supposed to be. She was done taking crap from people.

Broken Angel: A Princes of Hell Novel by Amanda Jones

My Rating: 5 Stars
Series: A Princes of Hell Novel #2
Sex Scenes: Yes.

Subject: Fallen Angels finding their light back.

Synopsis
Mara is a beautiful and talented surgeon with everything going for her...at least on the surface. She has a dark secret she has kept buried for centuries.

Bataryal is a fallen angel broken beyond repair...or so it seems.

Will the beautiful surgeon who saved his life also be able to redeem him, or will Bataryal's damaged soul lead them both into the depths of Hell...

My Review

I got this book by the author for an honest review and I was thrilled!

I've fallen in love with this group of misfits angels, demons and other creatures, so when the author offered me this chance I couldn't resist! And I have to say I'm glad, this book is just as amazing as the first.

So, the fallen Angels are threatened by Satan's evil forces again, but now the catch is that they have no idea what they are. They are no longer bound to Satan, but they didn't get their wings back like Lucifer, so they don't know their weaknesses or strengths yet and that is a really big problem.

Bataryal is in danger and lucky for him he ends up in Mara's OR, the connection between them is so strong that she can feel him, even though she has no idea who he is, I loved that about the first scene. I hate to spoil so that's all I telling about the story, It just blew me away, how hard she fell for him, even though she hasn't let herself feel anything that strong since before she was turned.

This story revolves around two things, the difficulty Mara has with setting roots and accepting someone's love, because based on her experiences she has only been played and she hasn't let herself feel love since the night the love of her life betrayed her.

And B's problem is not so different, he feels like the dark in his past has tainted him in such a deeper level that everything he touches dies or gets ruined, so he has set his mind not to be near Mara under any circumstances.

But life has other plans and they both find themselves fighting for their lives and their friends, against Satan's strongest puppet.

In this book we get to see a little bit more about the fallen angels and the way in which falling has really affected them; the suffering they endured and how that bounded them together.
The relationships between them are starting to shape up in our eyes, and they are no longer Luc's pals, they are different tortured creatures and each have his own kind of hell in their minds and hearts.

I just can't wait to read all of their stories.

Last but not least, AMAZING sex scenes , I just couldn't wait for them to realize how good they were for each other, and in the end, destiny always win, they should just let fate lead the way.

Beautifully Decadent (Beautifully Damaged #3) by L.A. Fiore

My Rating: 5 Stars
Series: Yes, Beautifully Damaged #3, but it can be read as a standalone.
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Subject: Falling in love in the best way.

Synopsis
Avery Collins has just landed her dream job, pastry chef for the posh-Manhattan restaurant Clover. Her new boss, Trace Montgomery, even helped with securing her an affordable place to live: a beautifully restored carriage house owned by his friend, Rafe McKenzie—a man that makes her catch her breath and stirs her imagination. Trouble is, he's involved with someone, his father is being released after 25 years in prison and Avery is just his tenant. Exploring the attraction that sizzles whenever they're together would be the icing on the cake, but Avery knows all too well that you can't have everything. Of course, what's cake without icing?

Rafe McKenzie's world shattered at nine when his father Liam—the only parent he knew—was arrested and convicted for armed robbery. Growing up in the system, Rafe managed to survive his childhood and now has a job he enjoys, a house he's restoring and a tight circle of friends. He's even working on reconciling with his dad, both eager to put the past in the past.

Happy for the income a tenant would bring, Rafe agrees to rent his carriage house to Clover's new pastry chef. When Avery Collins pulls up his drive, she's not at all what he's expecting. Funny, sexy and as sweet as her desserts, it doesn't take long for things between them to heat up. Just when it seems as if they'll have their cake and eat it too, the past comes back with deadly intent leaving Rafe to figure out who's pulling the strings before his world shatters again.

My Review
I got this book by the author for an honest review on Netgalley and fell in love with the characters right away!

Rafe and Avery's story was beautiful!  They are such good characters that you just know they deserve to be together.

They had a perfect "Meet cute" when she sees him walking out of his workshop, that just told me it was going to be a great book!

Avery is this cute pastry chef who has a thrive for life like no one I've ever seen. But she is lonely, even though she wasn't aware of it till now, once she has the dream job, she wants the dream man.

Rafe is perfect!  He is SUPER hot and a perfectly nice gentleman. We love him from the moment he appears on the book.
He's had a rough childhood and now he thinks he is passed that, but in reality, everything that happened to him changed something within, he is broken and Avery might be just what he needs to be full again.

The story is lovely, the almost love scenes are so good! I was shouting at my book asking them why couldn't they just get over it and kiss. It was obvious they were perfect for each other.

Their chemistry was impressive, they were so attuned to each other that even though they didn't actually have an intimate scene yet, they left the reader hyperventilating.

A beautiful story about family and love, in a conventional and an unconventional way.
The family we choose for ourselves, the friends that walk alongside us in our life and who sometimes are the only Family we get.

Foolproof Love (Foolproof Love #1) by Katee Robert

My Rating: 4 Stars
Series: Yes, Foolproof Love #1
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Subject: Letting the past go and opening your heart to a new path of life.
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: June 6, 2016
Publisher: Entangled Brazen
Print Length: 50,000 words
Format: Paperback and Digital

Synopsis:
Bull rider Adam Meyer put Devil’s Falls in his rearview mirror years ago and hasn’t stopped running since. Now he’s back—temporarily, if he has any say about it. Restless, he finds himself kissing the sexiest girl in town…and agreeing to be the fake boyfriend in her little revenge scheme.

Jules Rodrigez isn’t interested in the role of town spinster. Being seen with a hell raiser like Adam is the perfect way to scandalize the residents, make her ex jealous, and prove she’s a sexy, desirable woman. And if their plan includes ridiculously hot sex—in public, of course—all the better.

But this thing between them has an expiration date. Putting down roots isn’t in Adam’s blood, and Jules’s roots in Devil’s Falls are bedrock deep. He’ll leave, even if it rips out his heart. But this time, he’s not sure he’ll survive it…

My review

I got this book for an honest review on Netgalley by the publisher.

It was an entertaining story and the characters were super cute!

Jules is this amazing girl who has suffered in the past with matters of the heart and now HE’s come back to ruin everything again, but she is determined to survive this time.

Here is where Adam comes to the picture; he is sexy, captivating and mysterious, but he is also damaged by his past and his choices.

He is a runner and staying seems to be the hardest thing he has ever faced.

The storyline is funny and entertaining, they are so good together that their love story is effortless, they just make sense.

The author really translates their feelings for each other through the pages, you can feel her love and his fear; there’s also their chemistry, just WOW!

Overall the story was really good; we get to see them learn to move on from their past and the mistakes they made to make room for the future, just beautiful.

Excerpt
“That’s really sweet, Grant. It was great seeing you, but my boyfriend is waiting for me.”
He frowned. “Boyfriend?”
“Oh, yeah, it’s a new thing. We haven’t exactly gone public with it—you know how Devil’s Falls can be—so you wouldn’t have heard.” She gave him a pat on his arm. “It was nice seeing you. So great. Really, we’ll have to catch up sometime soon.” And then she stepped around him, dragging Aubry behind her.
“What are you doing?” Aubry whispered.
“Winging it.” She stopped by the trio of men, all too aware of Grant watching her. “Hi, Daniel. Quinn. Adam.” They raised their beers.
Daniel looked over her shoulder with a frown. “Is that your piece-of-shit ex-boyfriend I see?”
“The very one.” She disentangled her arm from Aubry’s. “Speaking of, I need a favor.”
“Anything for you, kid.”
She tried not to roll her eyes at him calling her kid. He was a whole seven years older than her. Not exactly ancient. “Actually, it’s not you I need the favor from.” Before she could talk herself out of it, she sidled up to Adam and put her arms around his neck. To his credit, he didn’t shove her on her butt in the dirt, merely raising his eyebrows. Jules kept her voice low so there was no chance of Grant overhearing. “So as you’ve noticed, my ex is watching me really closely right now, and I might have told him a tiny white lie about me dating someone in order to avoid a devastating dose of humiliation. And since I can’t date Daniel and no one would ever believe I’d date Quinn—”
The man in question frowned. “You really know how to hit a man where it hurts, Jules.”
“—that leaves you.”
Adam’s face remained impassive. “I see.”
There wasn’t a whole lot to work with in those words, but he also had let his free hand drift down to settle on her hip, so she just kept talking. “If you could just play along and maybe kiss me like you want to do filthy things to me in the bed of your truck, I’d really appreciate it.”
If anything, his eyebrows rose higher. “That guy really got under your skin, didn’t he?”
“You have no idea.” Next to them, Daniel made a sound suspiciously like a growl, but neither of them looked over. Adam’s hand pulsed on her hip, the heat of it shocking despite the warmth of the night. His calluses dragged over the sensitive skin bared by her T-shirt, and she shivered. Maybe this was a terrible idea. She didn’t have time to really reconsider, though, because he set down his beer, cupped the back of her neck, and dealt her the single most devastating kiss of her life.
No, not a kiss.
He took possession of her mouth, his tongue tracing the seam of her lips and then delving inside. He tasted of beer and something darker, something that hinted at exactly what she’d asked for—like he wanted to do filthy things to her in the bed of his truck. She closed her eyes, giving his tongue a tentative stroke, and had to fight down a moan at the way the move made her entire body go tight. More.
He lifted his head, breaking the kiss and slamming her back into the real world. She blinked up at him, all too aware of her body pressed against the entirety of his, of how he was hard in all the places she was soft, of how goddamn good he smelled. “Wow.”

There went that eyebrow again. “You think it was believable?”

My Review
Arc given by the author for an honest review.

This was quite a story!

The characters were dark and tormented, which made them extremely addictive and captivating.

Each of them was haunted by an event that changed everything in their existence and defined the way in which they chose to live these last years of their lives.

Jayne is the main focus of the story and she is a mystery, she disappeared for three years and now she is not the same.

Surrounded by lies and evil plotting she seems to be lost but at the same time she is in control… of what we don’t know, that is the Main Mystery.

Kasper hates her, he seems to be perturbed and lost; but he finds himself, in the hatred he feels towards her. He was one of my favorite characters; he seemed genuine and strong willed.

Donovan was just wow, I had mixed feelings about him at the beginning of the book but I understood him and fell for him at the end. He is one sexy stepdad that’s for sure.

Last but not least is Logan, he is perturbed on a level that is not sexy, he is evil and he is crazy; though he surprised me at the end on two counts: I didn’t expect for him to be SO crazy and He did have some feelings hiding deep inside after all (spoiler alert if I go on on this).

Overall, the book is amazing, the story is basically a tale of lies and the sacrifices she made for everyone risking her life in the process.

GOOD GIRL
Lauren Layne
May 17th, 2016
Loveswept

In this steamy novel from the USA Today bestselling author of Blurred Lines, country music’s favorite good girl hides away from the world—and finds herself bunking with a guy who makes her want to be a little bad.

Jenny Dawson moved to Nashville to write music, not get famous. But when her latest record goes double platinum, Jenny’s suddenly one of the town’s biggest stars—and the center of a tabloid scandal connecting her with a pop star she’s barely even met. With paparazzi tracking her every move, Jenny flees to a remote mansion in Louisiana to write her next album. The only hiccup is the unexpected presence of a brooding young caretaker named Noah, whose foul mouth and snap judgments lead to constant bickering—and serious heat.

Noah really should tell Jenny that he’s Preston Noah Maxwell Walcott, the owner of the estate where the feisty country singer has made her spoiled self at home. But the charade gives Noah a much-needed break from his own troubles, and before long, their verbal sparring is indistinguishable from foreplay. But as sizzling nights give way to quiet pillow talk, Noah begins to realize that Jenny’s almost as complicated as he is. To fit into each other’s lives, they’ll need the courage to face their problems together—before the outside world catches up to them.

Excerpt
Noah
“What time did you say this chick was arriving?” Finn asks around his cigarette.
“Tomorrow morning,” I say, rapping my toe against a funny-looking floorboard and wincing when it buckles.
“Huh.” Finn exhales and looks out the window.
I know that tone. “What?”
“Seems she might have gotten here early,” he says, a second before the quiet afternoon erupts with the sound of my dog losing his mind, mingled with the shrill piercing yap of a much smaller dog.
“Seriously?”
Finn shrugs and nods. “There’s a girl outside.”
“Shit,” I mutter as I head toward the stairs, dodging the two broken ones.
Ranger’s about as good a dog as they come, wouldn’t hurt a fly. But he’s a big dog with a big bark, and one serious weakness: gleefully humping smaller dogs. He’s a rescue, and though he was fixed after they brought him in, he’d already gone through canine puberty, or whatever. He’s still got the fierce urge to hump, although it’s more habit than hormones.
I exit out the front door just in time to see my big brown Lab leap forward, his clumsy paws finding the shoulders of a blond girl who lets out a shriek, holding a cat above her head like that scene from The Lion King.
“Ranger, no! Down.”
I run forward, my hand finding the collar of my dog and yanking him backward as I search the ground to find the source of the small-dog barks still piercing the air.
Then I register that the sound is coming from above, and realize . . .
The cotton ball isn’t a cat.
That orange piece of fluff is a dog, and Ranger is apparently in love.
“What the heck is wrong with your dog?” the girl says as she slowly lowers the puffball from over her head, cradling the hideous little monster against her chest as it continues its high-pitched bloody-murder yips.
“At least my dog is actually a dog,” I say, staring in horror at the pointy face of a canine that could fit in one of my hands. “I’ve seen dust bunnies bigger than that thing.”
“Dolly’s a Pomeranian,” she says, setting a hand on top of the monster’s head. “She’s supposed to be this tiny.”
“Well, Ranger’s a Lab. He’s supposed to be this normal.”
“He attacked me,” she says, giving Ranger a wary look as his tongue hangs out the side of his mouth, his eyes locked lovingly on Dolly.
“He didn’t want you, he wanted the . . . dog,” I say, forcing myself to acknowledge that the creature in her hands might be part of the canine family.
“For what, dinner?”
I don’t respond, because now that the crisis is averted, I’ve managed to shift my attention from the dogs to the girl, and . . .
Holy shit.
I’m not sure I’ve ever been sucker-punched by equal waves of lust and disdain before.
Jenny Dawson is hot as hell.
I knew that going in, but up close she’s even more mouthwatering. Her white skirt is short and tight, her legs long and toned.
She’s wearing some billowing pink top, so I can’t get a good look at what’s happening there, but it doesn’t really matter. I’ve always been a legs man, and I can’t stop looking.
The legs are a 10.
The face is a 10.
And the long blond hair spilling over one shoulder definitely begs to be spread over a man’s pillow. My pillow.
And yet even as my cock says yes, my brain is saying hell no.
Gorgeous as she is, she screams diva from the pink toenails to the sky-high stiletto sandals and all the way up to the carefully made-up face.
I just turned my entire life upside down trying to get away from a woman exactly like this one, so this is definitely a look, don’t touch situation.

But I’m looking. I’m definitely looking.

My Review
I got this book for an honest review on Netgalley and I LOVED IT!

I always enjoy Lauren books and this is no exception.

It’s been a while since I actually loved the characters from the start and I have to mention I found hilarious the “meet cute” of Jenny and Noah.

Her first line about the three southern men that greeted her at the house just cracked me up!

I could just picture them and I have to say I drooled a little bit on mi Kindle… yeah exactly my type of men.

The storyline is fun and sexy, they start as total stranger who kind of hate each other, but after some time they start to know a lot about the other and realize that there was so much more to them that what they saw at first.

Jenny is such a sweet character who is having a rough time in her life and career and this getaway is just what she needs to find her way back home.
But meeting Noah is so much more than what she was hoping for and she gives herself freely to him.

Noah has been through a lot and he is not looking for anything in particular, but he finds everything in her.

The sex scenes are just wow, I think the parts where there is no real sex but just a little bit of foreplay are even better, the connection and sexual energy just explodes through the pages this guys are AMAZING TOGHETER!!!

Overall this is a great book about falling unexpectedly for someone and fighting for that person, even when timing is wrong and it seems as it would never work out.
Love doesn’t care about time, convenience or your plans, it just hits you and you can only hold on and hope to get a forever out of it.

My review

I got this book for an honest review on netgalley.

This story was just as good as the first one!

Lambo and Ainsley were so different when you looked at them from a far, but in each other they found what they had been looking for.

Yeah Ains needed to have sex, but meeting him went so much deeper, she was scared, because life hadn't been nice to her and she had lost her innocence a long time ago.

Trusting people was hard for her and the fact that it wasn't as hard to trust him was a huge surprise.

Lambo, the big payer, he didn't need anything, his life seemed perfect, but it really was not.

This is a story " boy meets girl" but the boy just wants to sleep with the girl and the girl is unable to do that just quite yet, which makes her a challenge at first.

I guess as a punchline we can agree that even though we are all different and most of us aren't perfect, perfection or normal is overrated!!

We are loved by the things that makes us different from the rest, and the hardships of life that have made us strong and who we are today.
