My Rating: 4 Stars
Series: The Illusion #3
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Subject: Loving again.
Synopsis
Lives are turned upside down…

Everything was perfect before life came to a screeching halt.

When devastating loss flips Amelia’s world on its axis, she loses her spirit. Mel isn’t the only one hurting, though; the members of BAD are also struggling to find their way after that tragic night.

Life goes on…

Amelia’s friends move heaven and earth to help ease her sadness. Knowing she’s on a dangerous precipice, they fight through their own pain to bring her safely to the other side of her grief.

Love can conquer…

Amelia knows bottling up her feelings isn’t helping anything. With love at her fingertips, all she has to do is reach for it. Mel’s loved ones desperately hope she can once again find her way to happiness.

Can Amelia overcome her fears to let love in again, or will she let the weight of that night continue to drown her in sorrow?

Just an Illusion – EP is book three in The Illusion Series.

How can you keep on living when your heart has been ripped off your chest?

Amelia is stuck in Hell, she is sure she is cursed and that everyone she loves is destined to die in a horrible way, so staying away from everyone seems like the obvious choice.

Sawyer is not allowing that to happen, he has become her rock, a father to her child and the main support for the whole family. He rose to the occasion in a way no one could have expected, but how can he be so close to her without letting himself feel everything he has been hiding?

Moving on, after someone’s death feels like betrayal, but how is Amelia supposed to keep living without letting him go?

Her choice in partner is not helping and if she lets herself be guided but what everyone would think, this could be over before it starts.

The situation although painful, has been ideal to give them a chance to prove that all that chemistry they had, has always meant something.

Sometimes things just happen, it is fate…

PS.: I always thought she was in love with him… sorry Noah.
