I loved Dante on the first book, (not just because he is a vampire… duh) but for his sense of humor and his strength and determination when Meg’s life was at stake.
Learning a little bit more about his life was interesting, he had an easy life but at the same time, he was pressured by it. He had to be the best; and he was finding it hard to achieve while wielding a war within himself between his love for money and his passion for fighting for what’s right.
Kaja never had a home, she was always an outsider, a wolf without a real pack and now she has no place to stay and she is running for her life. That’s how she ends up on this plane, and hilariously, her life is in danger yet again.
The attraction between them is incredible, from the moment they see each other, she feels his control, even before he knew he had it in him. Dante is becoming the man he was always supposed to be, and she is the key.
Two species so opposite and at the same time so similar. Dante will help Kaja find her Civil side and in exchange she will help him discover his animal/wild side making him stronger than what he could ever imagine.
