I love redemption books and this story is just that.
We hated JB, he was the bad guy in Lo and Maverick’s story and he was the brother of the devil, but this time we get to really meet him.
Being out of school changes a lot, and he is not the same person he was before, he has a deeper understanding about the world and his family. After the truth came out about his dad and his injury, something changed within him and he is no longer happy in his life the way it is now.
Summer’s life has taken a seriously bleak turn, her future is no longer set in stone, and her forever guy has broken her heart. She has no clue what to do about school and she is holding onto a big secret that could change everything.
When she is at her lowest and in need of someone, her world crashes JB’s. And even though he is the last person she would think could help her, he is there for her all the way.
