I liked Dominic and Presley’s story. Yes, it is basically the usual CEO and intern story, but the characters have a little more personality and aren’t just one dimensional sex fiends.
Dominic is intense, loving and caring. There isn’t anything really wrong with him which is a refreshing change of pace from the usual alpha males we encounter in romance books.
He loves his family and is willing to protect them no matter the cost, even if it means giving up his happiness.
Presley has always fought for what she wanted, she doesn’t give up and she is ready for this next challenge in her career. The fact that her boss is hot and irresistible won’t ruin her chance, or so she thought. She is also not damaged by life, she has had a rough patch and is struggling with money, but there are no ghosts or dark shadows in her past.
The chemistry between them was amazing, and even though we’ve seen this kind of plot before, I really enjoyed their special type of spice.
Than cliffhanger though!!! I need to know what happened between these two.
Will Dom give her a chance to explain? Can Presley forgive him for not trusting her?
