Diary of a Bad Boy by Meghan Quinn

My Rating: 5 Stars
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Series: No.
Subject: Sexy bad boy with a side of Irish
Synopsis:
Dear Diary,

I might have gotten myself into a wee bit of trouble—and I'm not talking about the "court mandated community service," or “therapy sessions from bashing a bloke in the head" kind of trouble.

I wish it were that simple.

Nope. I’m talking about the "falling in love with one of my client's daughters,” kind of trouble . . . The kind of problem I can’t talk my way out of when the truth gets out.

How I ended up with her phone is a long story—and when she called to get it back, I took things a bit too far. One innocent exchange wound up leading to so much more.

Fun, new, and totally immune to my charm, Sutton is different. And I had no idea she was the daughter of Foster Green.

Blame it on the dark colored stout running through my veins, pushing me toward one bad decision after another. Pushing me toward her even though I know right from wrong; even though she's my client's daughter.

Dating her might be the best or worst decision I've ever made. Only time, whiskey, and one more roll around the mattress with her will tell.

Roark

I have to say I'm shocked by some of the reviews I read. Not every book is for everyone and yes, the main character Roark is a super douchebag at the beginning of the book, but that's the type of story this one is, a redemption one.

Some people are broken by everything life has thrown their way and they need a lot of work and self love to get to the point where they are a whole person again.
That's the reason why there are thousands of authors and genres.

That being said, I loved everything about this book, I did want to kill him at the beginning and I couldn't understand why Sutton would take all that crap he was throwing her way. But I guess it had to do with the fact that she was also lacking.

Her life had been a sheltered one and she hadn't come out of her shell yet. She needed a little push to get out and live life; and in Roark's case it was a whole crazy shove that pushed her to her limits.

While she was busy fighting and bickering with him she didn't realize that she was so out of her comfort zone that there was no going back, she was a new person.

But what if he is too broken? what if he can't see what she sees in him?

The chemistry they had was so intense and unique it not only made this book a great read but also a hilarious one.

Talk about self control! for a crazy drunk and troublemaker Roark stood his ground and kept distance as long as he could.

A must read!
