Walk the Line (Man of the Month #12) by J. Kenner

My Rating: 4 Stars
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Series: Yes, Man of the Month #12.
Subject: Let love in.
Synopsis:
Elena is too young for me, not to mention she's my boss's daughter and my babysitter.

That's beyond complicated. And I'm not even looking for a relationship- but I can't deny the attraction that sizzles between us.

I need to ignore it. A single dad, all I want is to take care of my little girl, do my job, and enjoy my friends. Anything more is asking for complications I can't afford. Asking to be hurt again.

Trouble is, I want her, too. And when out flirty sparks turn to flames, I give in to temptation. Our secret fling is scorching hot, better than I'd ever imagined.

But secrets get out, and I could lose my job and my reputation.

And I am starting to realize she's the one thing I'm not willing to lose.

**Walk the Line is part of a binge read series by New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Publishers Weekly, and #1 International bestselling author of the million copy Stark series, J. Kenner.

And finally is was time for the last book.

I have been waiting for Brent and Elena's story since I first saw them together. There was something between them from the start and even though Brent tried to fight it some things are strong enough to overcome all the obstacles we put in from of them.

Elena knew she wanted Brent and his age and daughter didn't scare her off. She was sure she could be who he needed her to be. Her age was not something that was gonna stop her from pursuing the love of her life.

In the end, it will be up to Brent to decide if he is willing to open his heart again.
He had been hurt deeply in his past and he had been living his life without really opening himself to love. Not letting anyone get close enough to hurt him or his daughter was the safe road, but it didn't lead to a happily ever after.

He now had a chance to find true happiness, but his fears might make him lose this opportunity and leave him wondering what could have been.

Love is pain and you have to be willing to give up your heart and risk getting it broken, because that's the only way to let love find you.

The question is will he be a player or an spectator in his life?
