Jason’s past broke him and he hadn’t been able to heal himself till now, they are both escaping reality and their pasts, it will be up to them to choose to let go of the fear and open their hearts again to love.

The only reason I'm still loving the book and haven't been completely turned off by her is because she is getting what she deserves. 

There is a reason her perfect guy walked away from her all those years ago, and she seems oblivious to it. He had her and let her go, no matter what he says, there must be an explanation required for this kind of situation.

On the other hand, Gavin has loved her since forever, and she pushed him away. She wasn't even his to begin with, and he still waited, patiently, longing for her from afar, and his reward now is her choosing Chase over him again.

Delaney seems super immature, she in not making smart choices, or really making any choices at all, she is just going with the flow, letting these guys steer her the way they want.

Can't wait to see what happens next!

I'm so disappointed in this book... I love the author and I love sexy military man. Also the idea of a Pole dancer/stripper strong lead exited me since I like training myself as a Hobby. 

I couldn't really connect with the characters, she didn't really connect with him. She saw him and that was it, even though she was always super picky about her men, she was just: "Oh tall sexy pretty eyes" YES! I wanna keep him forever!

He was a professional, and one look at her and he was breaking rule number one, lying to his boss and jeopardizing a mission. All because she was hot and annoying.

The whole investigation, and the finding of the unsub was the most interesting part of the book. That and Mo's conversation with her neighbor, it was the only fun moment and the only time I connected with his character.

The book is well written, but the characters lack the capacity to make you connect with them. 

A sad day for my reading :(
